As a former family care partner for her late husband and mother spanning 25 years, Nancy understands the role of an informal caregiver well. She holds a Graduate Degree in Gerontology with an emphasis in education from the University of Utah. Prior to her retirement, she was the Caregiver Support Program Manager for the State of Utah and taught a course on Adult Development & Aging as an adjunct professor at BYU. She has facilitated several caregiver and dementia curricula and she continues to remain dedicated to sharing ideas with families as well as directing older adults and their care partners to community resources that can assist them during this stage of their lives.
