Various schools with the Alpine, Nebo and Wasatch School Districts. To promote ease of volunteering, we try to place volunteers in a school that is relatively close to their home. Work one-on-one with students listening to them read, assisting them with reading and math assignments, or other assistance to classroom teacher as needed. Schedules are varied and flexible.
Work one-on-one with students listening to them read and assisting them with skills to reach grade level reading. Volunteers need to commit to two 3-hour sessions a week: 3-6 p.m. Monday-Thursday.

Sign up nowAssist Community Nursing Services (CNS) with providing compassionate care when a loved one becomes seriously ill, suffers an injury or is nearing the end of life.
Call homebound seniors at least once a week for a friendly chat and a check-in at a predetermined time and day. Volunteers need to commit to 6 months of volunteering. Average weekly time commitment ranges from 15 minutes to an hour on the phone. Learn more.

Volunteers use their own vehicle to deliver 8-10 meals once a week to homebound seniors that live local to them. One hour a week between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Minimum of a six-month commitment. Valid driver’s license required.
Tabitha's Way is a client choice food pantry that needs shopping assistants, warehouse sorters and shelf stocking assistants to maintain a smooth and abundant shopping experience. 3+ hours a week required.

Volunteers use a provided van to take homebound seniors for errands and appointments in Provo and Orem. The service is offered Monday, Wednesday and Friday between 9:00 am and 2:00 pm. Volunteers shifts are flexible.
Volunteers use a provided van to take seniors from the senior center to various destinations for social and educational trips or to the senior center for lunch. Volunteers shifts are flexible.

Sign up nowThe Post’s primary mission is to provide for the needs of veterans in the community through visits to the local nursing and care facilities, VA Hospital Christmas store and through the Honor Guard. The post provides military honors for our deceased brothers and sisters. Participation is flexible.
Quilters meet together to share their love of quilting and to learn from each other. Among other humanitarian projects the quilters donate quilts to veterans for the Quilts of Valor lifetime awards. Volunteers meet weekly for several hours.
