MAG administers the CDBG Small Cities Program for Summit and Wasatch Counties in coordination with the Utah Housing and Community Development Division and aims to assist in developing viable communities by providing decent housing, a suitable living environment, and expanding economic opportunities, primarily for persons of low- and moderate-income. In collaboration with Summit and Wasatch Counties, all of the towns within, service providers, and residents, the 5-Year Consolidated Plan was completed to identify regional priorities. The plan was completed following an outline provided by the State of Utah and maintains the region’s eligibility for Utah Small Cities CDBG funds and other HUD formula funds.
