What we do

In Community and Economic Development we work with member jurisdictions, non-profit organizations, and citizens to build strong and sustainable communities. Our programs include a small business loan fund, home programs, Community Development Block Grant programs, and economic development planning and coordination.

The HEAT program assists low-income individuals and families to pay their power and gas bills with one-time per year assistance.

MAG administers the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) programs for Utah County, Lehi City, and Summit and Wasatch Counties.





Economic Development


Through a number of activities, including economic development planning, facilitating regional collaboration and investment, and administering a small business loan fund, MAG strives to strengthen economic vitality, competitiveness, and opportunity for businesses and residents.
